Egg-free Strawberry Ice Cream

May is a strawberry month so you can expect a few recipes containing one of my favorite fruits in the near future. The first one is strawberry ice cream. Most of the recipes for ice creams require eggs but once, I heard that every other egg has salmonella. My recipe is egg-free so it`s completely safe for you to enjoy it.
When you`re buying strawberries, you should smell them. If they have a nice strawberry aroma, immediately buy them. But, if you can`t smell it, then they are probably "artificial" - avoid them!


4 Ingredient Ice Cream

200 ml whipping cream 
300 g sugar  (or to taste)
180 g low fat sour cream
300 g strawberries

Preparation

In a food processor combine strawberries and sugar until you get a smooth puree. Whip the whipping cream and using a spatula incorporate strawberry pure and sour cream into the cream. Freeze over night and then enjoy.


This ice cream is creamy and at the same time it tastes a bit like a sorbet because of the water that is in the strawberries.

A jel to biljno vrhnje pod obavezno ili može i mliječno?
Ovo biljno ne ulazi u moju kužinu ;))
Inače je recept odličan, a sve skupa baš ljupko strawberrasto ;)

Jako fino i osvježavajuće. Jedva čekam još recepata s jagodom. Sviđa mi se kao si postavila okolinu na slici, kao na nekom rođendanskom partiju za curice...

Sada uskoro počinje sezona sladoleda.I inače kada pravim sladoled biram recepte bez jaja,nekako se bojim sirovih jaja..u bilo čemu...:)

I ja imam ovaj recept na blogu (sve po 250 gr), a zanimljiva je i varijanta sa Eurokremom umjesto voca i manje secera.

I ja ko i Tadeja ne puštam biljno vrhnje u svoju kužinu. ;)
Ali izuzev toga recept mi zvuči odlično. :)
Ipak ja često radim sladolede s jajima, ipak žumanjke za sladoled skuham tako da nema straha od salmonele. :)

Ma curke, bez problema možete staviti bilo koje vrhnje za šlag, neće apsolutno nimalo utjecati na krajnju ishod. Ja sam prvo nešto mućkala za vegane pa sam zato napisala biljno, ali onda sam zaključila da nije to za mene. Idem ispraviti :)

oh, ovo je za mene sladoled...! i ja pokušavam izbjegnuti žumanjke u sladoledu! tvoj mora da je divnog okusa! :D

I ja mislim da je ovo mjesec jagoda i treba ih iskoristiti maksimalno jer tako brzo prođu a i dođe novo!
